11.23.20

When a theological truth or question interests me I am all ears. My Bible and heart are open and listening. Otherwise, I assume I understand that which does not interest me. I live as though I do not need to learn and listen with eagerness to things I have heard before. Things that sometimes seem so painfully obvious that I am almost bored to even think about them. God, forgive me. God help me to care about your righteousness: all of it, at all times. Help me to care that you died in my place to rescue me from my own evil and make me your son. Grand me repentance, mercy, and joy every moment. And thank you for your steadfast love and faithfulness. Amen.
