I cannot in good conscience encourage you to follow your heart, rather, follow Christ’s heart. Do not let it lead you to an arbitrary terminus, but let Christ lead it to Himself for there is immense freedom and confidence therein to pursue every pure pleasure and worthy endeavor. He sets us free to love purely and enjoy all He has given in the most supernaturally visceral way. It is because the peace He gives to us is His peace – real and rooted in eternal, immutable promise – not as the world gives – shrouded in ostensibly pleasurable lawlessness yet steeped in sorrows of those who run after another God.
